About the Owner

My name is Melissa Dannenfelser and I am the founder and creator of Petit Lily.  My inspiration for starting this business was my daughter Lily Grace.  Once she started to grow hair, and lots of it, I couldn't find bows that would stay in her hair. So, I began the journey to find the perfect bow and wound up creating it myself!

After working for many years in the pharmaceutical world, I was subject to a downsize, begining my career as a stay at home Mom.  Though I loved and cherished every moment being with my daughter, I wanted to create and do something for myself. After a whirlwind evening of ribbon, sewing, hot glue and embellishments, Petit Lily was born. 

Each item is designed and hand crafted by me.  I hope you love our products as much as I enjoy creating them!
